Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening of S.S.M.C

Honorable Sri P. C. Mohan, Member of Parliament for Bengaluru Central, along with celebrated Kannada actress Dhanya Ramkumar, granddaughter of legendary Dr. Rajkumar, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially inaugurate the clinic’s services for the community.

Inauguration of S.S.M.C

Karnataka Health Minister Sri Gundu Rao formally inaugurated the newly established Sri Sharada Medical Centre by lighting the ceremonial lamp, in the presence of Mr. Ramesh Ramadas, Mrs. Hemamalini Ramesh, their family and friends, and members of the Cubbonpet 9th Cross community.

Ophthalmology Medical Camp

Conducted a free eye-check up camp at S.S.M.C for cataract evaluation and general eye health. The camp received overwhelming response from the community:

Total Patients Attended: 150

Registered Patients: 126

Non-Registered Walk-Ins: 24

Patients referred for cataract surgery: 9

Health Awareness Camp

A comprehensive General Health Awareness Camp was conducted at SSMC, featuring general health check-ups, a preventive care education session, cervical and breast cancer screenings, and obstetrics & gynaecology consultations to promote early detection and overall well-being.

Rajyotsava Health Camp

Sri Sharada Medical Center proudly sponsored a community food distribution in celebration of Rajyotsava, reinforcing our commitment to service, compassion, and community well-being.

University of Alabama, Birmingham visit to S.S.M.C 

Dr. Majd Zayzafoon, International Education Dean at UAB, visited SSMC to tour the facility and learn more about our programs. The visit included tours of SSMC and partner hospitals, along with discussions on accommodation and transportation arrangements for UAB students participating in away rotations at SSMC in June.

Medical Health Camp

​A comprehensive General Health Awareness Camp was conducted at SSMC, offering free blood pressure (cardiac) screening, HbA1c testing for diabetes, and ECG evaluations. The camp was attended by over 200 patients.
